Community Partnerships
Prince Philip Public School recognizes the importance of a positive ongoing relationship with our community: neighbours, whether
they be our next door neighbours, local businesses or social service clubs and agencies. We thank our partners for their support.
Thank You to our Community Partners
In addition to the community partners mentioned in our April newsletter, we would like to extend our thanks to the Mandarin Restaurant for providing us with Student of the Month letters and to the Ice Dogs organization for their ongoing support of our school. We would also like to thank the PAWS program for enriching the lives of children in our school.
Rankin Cancer Run
A BIG thank you to everyone who came out to support the Rankin Cancer Run on Saturday, May 28th. Together, we participated with over 8 000 people in our community to raise funds for cancer patients and treatment here in Niagara. In total over $600 000 was raised. The Prince Philip community was well represented by 116 participants and should be proud of all their efforts.
Lids for Kids & Jump Rope for Heart
Thanks to your support for Lids for Kids. Prince Philip raised $358.10 for children’s mental health in Niagara. Thanks to Mrs. Hirniak’s class for counting the money.
Thank you, again, to everyone who made Jump Rope for Heart such a great success. As a school, we raised $8 441.12! The thank you prizes have been delayed but are expected at the beginning of June. They will be distributed as soon as they arrive.
